A Precise Home Inspection was founded in 2007, just before Lance Hayward separated from the Air Force. Lance knew that he wanted to help people, and after purchasing multiple homes throughout his military career he knew exactly how he wanted to do that. He wanted to provide a level of service that was unseen in the home inspection industry. By providing his 20+ years of Engineer experience and his deep commitment to customer satisfaction, A Precise Home Inspection was quickly the #1 home inspection company in the Colorado Springs area. Over the years, the team has grown and the level of service has raised the bar for home inspection companies. To this day, they are one of the only home inspection companies around that build the report during the inspection, and deliver it before they leave the home. It is A Precise Home Inspection’s mission to help Colorado home buyers find safe and comfortable homes for their families.
Tom George
Owner/Certified Master Inspector
Tom began his career in Indianapolis, working as a siding and roofing contractor. While going to school to be an electrician, he accepted a position at a plumbing company where he worked for four years until joining the Army in 2012. As an Infantryman, Tom served two years in Afghanistan as a part of Operation Enduring Freedom and separated from Fort Carson. He is an InterNACHI Certified Master Inspector, which is the highest designation for home inspectors. He currently lives in Colorado Springs with his three children.
Lance Hayward
Founder/Certified Master Inspector
Originally from Pittsburgh, Lance joined the United States Air Force in 1988. After 20 years as a Civil Engineer, Lance retired from the Air Force Academy in 2008, but not before he founded A Precise Home Inspection. He has completed over 8000 home inspections and is an InterNACHI Master Inspector. He lives in Briargate with his wife Sandra and their daughter Zoe.
Hunter Davidson
InterNACHI Certified Professional Inspector
After graduating high school in Missouri, Hunter moved to Pagosa Springs, Colorado where he worked as an electrical apprentice for four years. He then became a home inspector and he started his own home inspection company. During the slow months in Pagosa Springs, Hunter worked as a garage door technician. He has extensive experience remodeling homes, which he enjoys doing in his free time. He moved to Colorado Springs in 2023 and is in his 2nd year at A Precise Home Inspection. Hunter is an InterNACHI Certified Professional Inspector, working towards his Master Inspector certification. He currently lives in Colorado Springs with his dog, Rosie.
Kevin Harbour
Radon Technician
Kevin began his adult life pursuing a career in law enforcement, while also volunteering for the Washington Township fire department. While waiting for a permanent position with the fire department, he began a career in HVAC. He performed every position in the company over the next 15 years. He then moved from Nashville, Tennessee for a lifestyle change in Colorado. That’s where he started his career in home inspections with a great company in Denver. He has been the lead Radon Technician for A Precise Home Inspection since 2023. He currently lives in Castle Rock with his children.
